With oil prices likely to increase in the medium term, PetraEnergy has been reviewing investment into oil exploration and extraction with particular reference to Africa. It has been offered an oil exploration concession in Ghana and is negotiating the terms at the present time. It is also investigating other areas of the world which are less popular with the majors and which do not attract significant signature bonuses.
